- The Northeast Asian Women’s Peace Conference is an annual women’s Six-Party Talks. The Oganizaing Committee was launched in 2007 in the needs to promote the importance of denuclearization and building peace on the Korean Peninsula, with a special focus on women’s role in making reconciliation, cooperation, and peace for the normalization of relationship between countries in Northeast Asia. It also serves to facilitate a peace network of Northeast Asian women. The initial conference was held in Seoul, South Korea and Kaesung, North Korea in 2008.
